2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tsp almond extract
6 oz dried cranberries
1 Tbs sugar
1/4 cup sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 375. Grease 8.5x4.5x2 inch loaf pan
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in bowl.
Combine milk, egg, butter, almond extract, and cranberries in bowl. Add to dry ingredients and mix until just moist. Spread batter in loaf pan, sprinkle with almonds and sugar.
Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
